HackGeniX Tech Private Limited builds custom software, enterprise platforms and AI systems from Salem and Chennai, for clients in India, the Gulf, Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia.
We started as a small team taking on work larger firms found too specific to be worth quoting. That has not really changed. The projects are bigger now, but they are still the ones where an off-the-shelf answer does not fit and somebody has to understand the business before writing code.
Two things follow from that. Teams are small and senior, so you talk to the people building your product rather than to an account manager. And we say no to work we are not right for, which costs us revenue occasionally and saves both sides a bad year.
How we work
Design and engineering sit in one team. Scope is written down before anything is signed, and changes to it get flagged when they happen rather than appearing on an invoice. You own the source code, the repositories and the infrastructure from day one — there is no licence you have to keep paying to keep running your own product.
Where we are
Our registered office is in Salem, Tamil Nadu, with a second team in Chennai. Most client work is delivered remotely, and we routinely run overlapping hours with the Gulf, Europe, Southeast Asia and the US East Coast.

Say the real number
An estimate that everyone privately knows is optimistic helps nobody. We would rather lose a pitch on an honest timeline than win one on a fictional one.
Build for the second year
Anything can be made to work for a demo. The test is whether a new developer can add a feature to it eighteen months later without fear.
Own the whole problem
We do not hand over a working component and blame the integration. If it does not work end to end, it does not work.
